Justin Mueller graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2008 with his Master in Business Administration specializing in Real Estate and Finance. For five years he worked with Griffin Brothers Companies, a small private family firm, acquiring land and extending the life and footprints of the five landfills within the company’s portfolio. In 2010, he was lead developer for a $25 million mixed-used development on West Trade of Charlotte with 80 student units, 7,000 SF of retail, and a 450 space parking deck.
Justin began with Lat Purser & Associates in the Summer of 2013 as the head of acquisitions and development for the Greenville and Charleston, South Carolina markets. During his time, he acquired a 45,000 mixed use building in downtown Greenville and led the $1.5 million renovation of the property. In addition, he led the acquisition of a $5.5 million, 60,000 SF grocery anchored center in Charleston, SC.

Joe received his Degree in Zoning Administration from the Institute of Government at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 1991. He spent nine years working and developing relationships with Cabarrus County in plan reviews and development approvals. In 1996, he founded Untz Builders and is currently sole owner.
He has spent the past five years as owner of JGU, LLC a land development company, working on the approvals of premiere subdivisions in rapidly growing Cabarrus County, North Carolina: more than 4,500 units of single family, townhome, and condominium projects. In addition, he has developed commercial projects.
Joe brings vast knowledge and experience in all phases of development, from due diligence to final implementation, not to mention great relationships and knowledge of the Cabarrus County and its City’s processes.
